Hi, I’m Ernesto Gonzales

I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) consultant based in San Diego, CA, specializing in cybersecurity, Google Workspace administration, MDM, and AI operations.

I currently serve as Head of Data, Security & Operations at a San Diego AI startup, where I’ve handled everything from insider threat investigations and device management to building operational dashboards and facilitating prompt engineering training.

My background is unconventional: I hold an MS in Data Analytics from WGU and a BA in Applied Psychology from SDSU, which means I approach technical problems with both analytical rigor and an understanding of how people actually behave inside organizations.

Before moving into tech consulting, I spent five years as a statistics tutor, which is where I developed the ability to explain complex systems clearly: something I still use every day when working with clients and training teams.

I work with small businesses and startups that are growing faster than their systems.
